10 Dec 2026January 2027February 2027
10 Jan 2027February 2027March 2027

The museum’s page gives the rule with a 10 January example for February, and the Park’s page names 10 November 2026 for January 2027. The other rows follow the same rule. Both times are Japan Standard Time. That is 01:00 UTC for the museum sale and 05:00 UTC for the park sale, so convert them to your own time zone before the sale opens.

Which sale date matches your trip?

Count back from your visit month: one month for the museum, two months for the park. A museum visit on any day in February 2027 needs tickets bought on 10 January 2027 at 10:00 JST. A park visit in February 2027 needs tickets bought on 10 December 2026 at 14:00 JST. If you want both in the same month, the park sale comes first, a month before the museum sale.

Use only the sales channels the official pages list. Both sites ban resale, and the park does not allow transfers.

Before you book Choose your date and entry time before the sale opens. A museum ticket covers one set date and entry time, and a Park ticket cannot be changed or refunded.

Yes. The official page lists two routes for buyers outside Japan: the Lawson Ticket English site, or a Sunrise Tours JTB bus tour.

Arrive for your entry time. The museum stands 15 minutes on foot from the south exit of JR Mitaka station, and a community bus runs between the station and the museum every 15 minutes.

When is the museum closed, and can you take photos?

Choose a date from the booking calendar, because the museum’s regular closed day is not stated on its hours, contact or home pages. Its English pages state no photo rule either, so read the Japanese information page before you go.
